PALLIATIVE : OJOKORO COUNCIL BOSS BEGINS FREE HEALTH SERVICES ACROSS PHC’S
The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID) has commenced a week of free health service across all the Primary Health Centers in the LCDA from Monday 9th October, 2023 to cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal on the people of the LCDA and it’s environs as the PHCs are of benefit to the people of Ogun State and others.
HID Tijani at the flag-off ceremony on Monday further urged constituents to disregard the rumor on social media about vaccination and urged parents to key into all health interventions saying the health workers had done due diligence and government is for the people. Noting that if a child is being affected by the virus, two hundred children will be at risk.
“This is to help our people access dress medical services, get free drugs including delivery and other services available at the health centers. I urge the people to key into all government health interventions as it’s beneficial to us as a people”, HID Tijani said.
It is worthy of note that the council boss had earlier given palliative to 7000 households through stakeholders and also empowered the beneficiaries of the council’s vocational training where cash, Laptops, Make-up Kits, Tye and dye Materials, Catering items, cooking gas to mention but a few to hundreds of the constituents on Friday 6th October 2023 for them to kick start their business.
