OJOKORO MUSLIM FAITHFULS COMMENDS HID TIJANI
Alhaji Ambali Muhammadul Awal Arikewuyo, President Muslim Association of Imams and Alfas,NOjokoro Local Council Development (LCDA) has commended the kind gesture of the Executive Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani for extending his hands of friendship and kindness to the entire Imam and Alfas in Ojokoro LCDA again in this holy month of Ramadan.
Hon. Tijani, gave out provisions and foodstuffs to the Association of Imams and Alfas in the LCDA for breaking of fast during this special month. The chairman who did this to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan with the Muslims and to further spread his goodwill message across to them as Ramadan hits day 15.
Alhaji Ambali during an interview with the press appreciated the council boss for all the different phases of palliatives gotten by the association, saying that it was not the first time the council boss will be doing that as it has always been an annual gesture by the council authority. “Considering the situation of things in the country now and how much the local council had spent in given palliatives to the constituents, we never expected this again this time. We are so surprised that he always has us in mind”, he said. He gave an account of how the Association shared the different palliatives earlier received from the council boss and gave kudos to him on behalf of all the beneficiaries.
Alhaji Ambali further appreciated the executives and assured the council boss that the new sets of palliative would be shared accordingly. “We are ever grateful to the executive members, the legislative council, the entire management and all staff for their cooperation with HID. We pray that God will continue to be with you all”, he concluded.
The Executive Chairman however implored the Muslim clerics not to relent in seeking for Allah’s mercy in this critical time of Coronavirus Pandemic and further urged them to continue abiding with all the established measures especially social distancing and regular hand washing in order to curb the spread of Covid 19.
