OJOKORO LCDA LAUNCHES KUBURAT AGBEDEYI STREET CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ADMIST GOVERNOR SANWO OLU’S INFRASTRUCTURE DIRECTIVE
The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani, convened a crucial meeting with stakeholders to inaugurate the construction project for Kuburat Abgedeyi street in Alagbado.
Simultaneously, similar meetings took place across all twenty Local Governments and thirty-seven Local Council Development Areas, aligning with Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu’s directive to construct 114 roads in 57 LGAs.
The gathering, held at the Council Conference room, brought together essential stakeholders, including community leaders (CDC), residents, and a representative from TollMarkTee International Limited, the contractor responsible for the construction. The objective was to garner support and cooperation for the timely and successful execution of the road construction initiative.
Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani reaffirmed the Ojokoro LCDA administration’s dedication to enhancing local infrastructure for the benefit of all residents. He stressed the importance of government-community collaboration to ensure the project’s smooth progress.
“The construction of Kuburat Abgedeyi street signifies a significant milestone in Ojokoro LCDA’s ongoing transformation efforts and contributes to the overall development agenda of Lagos State,” added Hon. Hammed Tijani.
Additionally, Council Engineer Arc Makinde Sunday appealed to community leaders and residents of Kuburat Abgedeyi street, urging them not to disrupt the contractors’ work but instead provide support to ensure the project’s timely completion.
During the vote of thanks, Alhaji M.A KAZEEM, representing the chairman of the CDC, expressed gratitude, acknowledging the chairman’s unwavering commitment to community development. “We deeply appreciate the chairman’s efforts in enhancing infrastructure in Ojokoro LCDA. The progress witnessed sets a commendable legacy for our children,” he concluded.
Present at the event are the Supervisor for Health Hon Adeyola Taiwo, Supervisor for Environment Hon Jamiu Odebiyi, Deputy Leader of the Legislative Arm Hon Moruf Dauda, Special Adviser on Market Hon Amosu Kolawole, CDC Secretary Alhaji M.A Kazeem, Engr Emmanuel Ige amongst others.
