OJOKORO COUNCIL CHIEF PROMISES CONTINUED TRANSFORMATION
… As he presents #3.8b year 2022 budget estimates for approval .

The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani has promised the people of the Council continued transformation on Infrastructural development.

The Council Chief, also known as H.I.D, made the promise during the presentation of year 2022 budget estimates of #3.8 Billion to the Council’s Legislative House for consideration and approval.

The budget presentation ceremony held on Tuesday, 15th February 2022 at the Council’s Legislative Chamber, was witnessed by key stakeholders in the Local Council Development Area.

The budget christened “Budget of Continued Transformation” has a total sum of #1.5b set aside for non-current assets and social services expenditure.

While addressing the House, the Executive Chairman said that as part of the Council’s statutory roles as the third tier of government, developmental projects which would impact positively on the lives of the people and meet their yearnings and aspirations will be vigorously pursued.

“This administration will continue to embark on the execution of far-reaching socio–economic projects with a view of making life more meaningful to the good people of the Local Council Development Area”, he said.

In his response after receiving the budget estimates, the Leader of the Legislative House, Hon. Tunde Oyekunle commended the Chairman for his giant strides in bringing unprecedented development to the Local Council Development Area, as he also assured him that the budget estimates will be given accelerated consideration and approval by the House.

Among dignitaries who graced the budget presentation ceremony includes a former Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon. Adeyemi Olabinjo; former member of the Lagos State House Assembly, Hon. Ipoola Omisore; representative of a member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Adisa Owolabi; leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as well as various religious and traditional leaders and other major stakeholders in Ojokoro LCDA.
