OJOKORO COUNCIL BOSS SET TO LAUNCH EDUCATION TRUST FUND FOR CONSTITUENTS
Ojokoro Council Chair set to luanch Education Trust Fund for constituents
The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID) has said that educational development and empowerment of people in the LCDA remain paramount to his administration.
“Thus, it is imperative to have a trust fund for the educational assistance of all indegent people facing challenges of acquiring basic education in the LCDA”.
The Council boss made this statement during a courtesy call made by officials of Chemstar Nigeria Limited, a paint manufacturing company, to his office on Monday, 11th January, to present the organization`s 2021 souvenir in appreciation of the cordial working relationship with the Council.
Mr. Idowu Elijah, who led the officials described the Council boss as a very reliable, calm and trustworthy personality, noting that the constituents are blessed to have the right man at the helm of affairs in the LCDA.
“Sir, I am not saying this to curry any favour or because am seeing your face, but I have known you long before now and I am amazed at your prudence and calmness”, he said.
“Your mode of operation has been very accommodating and corporate organizations are really doing well in the LCDA”, concluded.
The Council boss, in response said the best he can do is to make the atmosphere conducive for all business operatives, as it always have a positive effect on the Council.
He further talked about his plans to make all indigents in Ojokoro LCDA access quality education, irrespective of the situation they found themselves.
He said that corporate organizations would be put in charge of the Educational Trust Fund, so that people can access it with ease.
“We want a fair playing ground for all and sundry and that is why we are involving the corporate organizations to make this a reality”, the Council Chief concluded.
Other official on the courtesy call is Adeniyi Adebari who both represented Mr. Emmanuel Awode, the company’s CEO.
