OJOKORO COUNCIL BOSS INSPECTS ALHAJA TOOBAT BANIRE CDA, SETS TO ERADICATE FLOOD PROBLEM IN THE CDA
By In a bid to put an end to the flood crisis that affects the people of Alhaja Toibat Banire Community Development Association (CDA) and its environs in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID) on Thursday inspected the community to see the cause of the flood and proffer a solution in the company of the Vice-Chairman who doubles as the Supervisor for Works, Hon. Oladipupo Coker, the Supervisor for Environment Hon. Jamiu Odebiyi, the Council Engineer, Eng. Makinde, the Head of the Environmental Department of the Council, Sanitarian Falade and many others.
In his words, “we have seen things by ourselves and we will work to put an end to this if you all cooperate with us”, HID Tijani said.
“We also need you too to do the needful on your part by clearing the drainages too so has to easy the free flow while the council focus on the major work to make things faster. Even after we have put a lasting solution, you still need to clear your drainages at all times”, HID Tijani concluded.
The Chairman of the CDA, Apostle Adeola Adebayo promised utmost support and cooperation for the success of the project. He also agreed that the community will not hesitate to give out what is necessary for the flood to be a thing of the past.
