Ojokoro council boss empowers constituents
The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani on Monday 7th December, 2018 empowered over two hundred constituents who were beneficiaries of the council’s previous vocational trainings in the past few months.
It is now important to have own business after getting the entrepreneur skill. In most cases people find it so challenging to begin business due to financial challenge, lack of investors or partners.
This is now a thing of the past for the constituents of Ojokoro LCDA as the council boss put smiles on the faces of his people.
“As part of our electioneering campaign promises, we said we will empower our women and youth and that we are doing today. We have trained them all and today we are empowering them so that they can start their own job and be self sufficient”, HID said.
” I want you to make proper use of all we are giving to you today and be diligent at your work”, he concluded.
One of the beneficiary, Oyeyemi Aderonke expressed her appreciation to the council boss for doing needful for the constituents. “I never expected this after our training, I thought we will just get the training and go but this is different. Hon. Tijani has made my dreams come true. I will start my business now”, she said.
Community leaders, party stalwarts, APC leaders and religious leaders were all present at the empowerment programme.
