OJOKORO CELEBRATES YEAR 2023 CHILDREN’S DAY
By Today at Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Children’s day was generously observed.
It’s a day set aside to honor the next generation of leaders and acknowledge the value of children’s lives.
The chairperson of Ojokoro LCDA Deaconess Motunrayo Tijnai in her goodwill message said children’s day is
an opportunity for the children to express themselves and be happy that they are at their formative stages with lots of opportunities ahead for them to reach their goals provided they aim high and are focused.
Deaconess Tijani therefore urged parents and teachers to give shoulders to cry on when necessary, open hands to run to for advises and directions .Sometimes listening ear, giving praises, encouragement and reprimand when necessary.
Hon Oladipupo Coker the Vice chairman urged the children to desist from social vices but rather imbibe good habits that will shape them into future leaders.
The Children’s Day celebration was spiced up with beautiful cultural shows and other side attractions.
