OJOKORO 2021 BUDGET OF CONSOLIDATION
By The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID) has described the 2021 budget as the “Budget of Consolidation”. Noting that it is to consolidate on all developmental strides of his administration.
He made this known during the 2021 Budget Retreat at Glass House in Abule-Egba area of the LCDA while flashing back on the challenges the previous year 2020 coronavirus has brought to the LCDA coupled with the END SARS protest which led to several sets backs in the actualization of government plans across board.
“You will all agree with me that year 2020 had been a very turbulent year, considering the various incidences which characterized the year”, he said.
Hon. HID Tijani while delivering his opening remark appreciated all the management staff, the executive arm and the entire workforce of the council for their cooperation and commitment since the inception of the administration.
In actualizing the Year 2021 Budget, he called on the management and the entire workforce for continual cooperation,noting that this would further help in fulfilling the social contract signed with the good people of Ojokoro LCDA.
“It will be highly appreciated if we can all work harder this year, to surpass what we have earlier recorded in the previous years”, he said.
He was very optimistic that his administration could do better than what have been done in the previous years, in the execution of laudable and attainable budget estimates.
“I strongly believe that with every participant’s positive and meaningful contributions during deliberations at this retreat, we will be able to consolidate on our previous achievements since our administration came on board”.
The Head of Administration of the council, Engr. Tajudeen Afolabi in his remarks commended the council boss for outstanding performance since inception considering projects, programs and other developmental impacts his administration had put in place since inception .
The well-attended retreat had all management team,and the entire executive members present and contributed meaningfully to the actualization of the 2021 budget.
