HID PRESENTS JAMB FORM TO INDIGENTS …URGES THEM TO WORK HARD

In fulfilment of delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Ojokoro LCDA the Executive Chairman Hon.Hammed Idowu D. Tijani today the 8th of April at the council’s secretariat formally presented indigent students with JAMB forms, having registered and prepared them for the forth coming examination.

In his address the Executive Chairman urged beneficiaries to utilise the opportunity availed them by the LCDA to pass the exam and come out in flying colours,which would hitherto lift the glory of the LCDA. “Study hard and be Prayerful in order to achieve success” he said.

He advised beneficiaries to be good Ambassadors of the LCDA adding that his administration is passionate about youth development.

The Vice Chairman Hon. Sesan Shobande who also doubles as the supervisor for Education took the students through memory lane of the programme.

He noted that the free Jamb Forms presentation started during the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu era, in a bid to assist parents who were unable to afford the

Jamb forms for their wards, stressing that most of the local councils in Lagos state are following the trend since then.

He further said that since the inception of this present administration in ojokoro the presentation of free Jamb Forms to indigent students has become an annual programme and the result has been phenomenal.

In her vote of thanks the Head of Education Department Mrs Whenayon Abimbola thanked the leadership of the LCDA for the gesture towards the students, she said the exercise has recorded remarkable success in the past as beneficiaries came out in flying colours.

She implored the beneficiaries to adhere strictly to examination guidelines to avoid failure.The students were full of gratitude and promised to adhere by the rules and regulations guiding the examination and also put in their best in order to come out with good results.
The programme which was organised by Education Department was graced by members of the Executive committee Legislators, Management and staff, parents, the Jamb Consultant and other principal officers of the LCDA.
