HID PRESENTS #2 BILLION BUDGET FOR 2019
By The Executive chairman of ojokoro local council area Hon Hammed Idowu Tijani (HID) on Thursday presented 2019 budget of #2billion to the legislative house.
The chairman christened the budget as “Sustaining Economic Growth through Infrastructural Renewal.This year budget is made up of capital expenditures of #908 million and #1.8 billion for concurrent capital expenditures.
The executive chairman while addressing the house said the 2019 budget will propel the citizenry to take advantage of opportunities that enhance people to have access to income,health and other social safety measures especially the most vulnerable.
Also in his words,the policy objectives of this year budget will embrace more prudent and conservative approach that focuses on development priorities aimed at sustaining economic growth along with fiscal sustainability.
The occasion was graced by Hon Rasheed Makinde (Member Lagos state house of Assembly ) representing Ifako Ijaye 2, HRM Oba Rilwan Oluwalambe and other special dignitaries.
In his remark,the leader of the legislative house Hon Abdul Azeem Osho assured the chairman that the lawmakers will quicken the consideration process to ensure speedy passage of the appropriations bill.
