HID host students on courtesy call, donates teaching aids

The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA Hon. Hammed Idowu Tijani (HID) on Thursday 1st November 2018 received teachers and pupils of MD Schools New OKo- Oba Lagos who were on a courtesy call to the office of the Executive Chairman at council secretariat.

The council boss who took time to educate the students on governance and administrative duties further made the student realize that leadership is a responsibility which must be executed judiciously. He also advised the pupils to always strive to exhibit good leadership values such as dedication, commitment, patience , understanding, team spirit, humility and selflessness.

“Being a leader does not mean one is better than the others but it means that one is saddled with the responsibility of providing leadership to others, and therefore a leader should listen to his followers for better leadership”, HID said.

The Head of the school, Mrs. Olusola Akaiso speaking on behalf of the school expressed profound gratitude to Hon. HID Tijani for the warm reception, hospitality and the honour of meeting with the pupil. She said the experience will go a long way in improving their orientation as they grow to become leaders. She applauded the Executive Chairman for his humility and exceptional leadership style which she said is instrumental to the growth and development enjoyed by the constituents within the LCDA and its environs while Hon Tijani presented the pupils with a sizeable number of Ojokoro LCDA branded books to enhance the academic performance of the students.
