Drug Abuse: Ojokoro set to collaborate with NDLEA to curb abuse

The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID) has assured the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) of optimal cooperation and contribution to putting an end to all forms of drug-related issues in Lagos and the LCDA while seeking the agency to eradicate illicit drug use in the environ.

Speaking during the familiarization visit of the Agege Area Commander, Uwah Rapheal Lawrence to the council on Monday, HID Tijani has assured the provision of office space and some other logistics for the edge time operation of the agency.

Noting that, without the presence of NDLEA, only God knows what we will be having in Nigeria today.

“I must commend the activities of our then Military Governor, Major General Buba Marwa in combating this social vices, he is doing a wonderful job”, HID said.

Responding to the council boss’s request, the Area Commander, Uwah Lawrence, ” we are going to ensure we do our best to ensure drug abuse becomes a thing of the past within the LCDA”, he assured.
