COVID 19: OJOKORO COUNCIL BOSS, EXECUTIVE MEMBERS, LEGISLATORS, MANAGEMENT, STAFF GETS VACINATED
The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID) has gotten the Astrazeneca COVID19 Vaccine along with the Executive members, Legislators, management members and some of the staff council on Monday.
The vaccination took place at the Kola Primary Health Centre of the council.
At the Primary Health Centre in the Kola area of the LCDA, the Supervisor for Health, Hon. Nasir Busari assured the council that he would do all in his capacity to ensure that the vaccine is given adequate storage to maintain its potency. While assuring that all facilities and equipment needed for the easy vaccination of the people will continue to be made available for the front-liners.
“We will ensure these vaccines are given the right storage and kept at their best temperature for their perfect potency. Let me further use this medium to assure the council and the good people of Ojokoro that facilities and equipment needed for this exercise will continue to be made available to all the front-liners”,Hon. Busari said.
The AstraZeneca Vaccine according to a health expert is suitable for Nigeria climate status as other vaccines potency and effectiveness may be affected by the high temperature of the nation.
The Council Boss, Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID) has therefore used the opportunity to call on the good people of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area to key into the vaccination and get vaccinated to beat both waves of the virus.
He further confirmed that the Coronavirus vaccine is safe, that it will do a lot of good in combating the communal spread of the virus.
It is quite safe to get vaccinated and I can say that this will go along way in combating the spread of this pandemic that are presently ravaging our world, Hon. HID Tijani said.
Hon. Hammed Tijani (HID) further urged the good people of the LCDA and its environs to disregard all form of misinformation circulating the social media about the vaccine.
It is just so unfortunate that some people are bent on misinforming the public about this vaccine just for their selfish gains. I urge you all to discard all the wrong information at your disposal concerning this vaccine and get vaccinated,he said.
